Germany.

Perhaps not but you still have to ensure that both suspensions are in similar shape, etc...

If anyone wants to make the trip over or send the parts then I would consider it I guess

there is a thread on here about 6 months back, showing all the components for SS+ laid out - it was a lot of kit, springs, dampers, roll bar etc.

biggest mistake I made was ordering SS+, it is way too hard for urban UK roads - i would concider a swop but I imagine its a much bigger job than a couple of springs.

the avant also sits strangely low at the back on SS+ like you are on your way back from B&Q with a boot full!

anybody better at searching a forum than me you will find it.

Depends what you like and are used to - I'm very happy with my SS+, and find the ride better than my old B6 S4...

I'd be interested to have a drive in an SS+ car at some stage to see what the difference is like. Even the 'normal' RS4 has infinitely better handling than the B6 S4.

I am loving the the SS+! Even the Surrey roads dont make it too harsh for me, it soaks up the holes and bumps with ease...those who think even the standard is harsh should try my Mrs's Scooby STI with Prodrive suspension  If she isnt complaining, you guys really are worse than woman ;)

Sorry - should have been clearer. I find that the ride is more comfortable than my B6, in so far as it crashes less over potholes and bumps. You feel it a bit more in the wheel, but a lot less on the bum & ears...

Having said that' since my DRC work and repressure (to a higher level than it was ever before) it has got a little harsher...

Obviously the handling, SS+ or not, is in a different league
