Yeah, avoid Finchley Road if you can. A very busy lot so they're always booked up weeks ahead (not really their fault). Pleasant enough head tech guy, but no faith in anybody else there in the workshop (they drove mine out with loose exhaust brackets - LOUD - and just expected me to drive off like everything was normal. Useless. That did it.). Rafiq on service reception is pretty stand-up, but beware sales... especially the younger guys.

I moved to Audi Watford which is worth the extra 15 mins or so up the M1. It's a brand new centre with plenty of space. Quicker bookings and (so far) polite, friendly, non-patronising staff (reception, service and workshop included).

Both part of the same group, but couldn't be further apart in terms of customer service.

I would also recommend Harold Wood Audi on the A12 Colchester Road, however probably only useful if you live East / North London

Edit: I meant busy *parking* lot at Finchley Road, hence ages to wait. Cars crammed in like frickin sardines.

Nope....black optics = Project Kahn + blue neon underlights IMO.

'Stealth'.... ....how ??

Right up there with those ridiculous bleached, D&G'd pseudo wannabe WAG's who drive black RR sports with tinted windows.

err not really Robbo - and I'm not sure 'stealth' is the point - on that basis surely the 19" rims, bucket seats and bodykit make all RS4's chav?!

To the guys above - thanks for the suggestions but they are a bit too far away - has anyone had experience of Wimbledon Audi?

No offence intended....just think Kahn Optics detract form overall classy image of the RS4. I do actually have one. As I say, my opinion entirely...with one or two others of course.

No offence taken Robbo, just having a bit of fun, its all said in good humour....Mind you I never quite understand how Kahn has made so much money pimping up cars like they do...saw an article somewhere, autocar I think, where Mr Kahn had just paid £486k for the no plate F1, which was going on his SLR McClaren...so he is not short of a bob or two. I can only presume most of his clients are Septics ( septic tanks = Yanks ) or WAG's as those 22" bling wheels and stuff they do to cars is very odd to me, but must be a huge market for him..mind you drug dealers are pretty wealthy, maybe thats the bulk of his market

thers nothing wrong with having 22" rims on a rr, my v10 touareg had khan 22" wheels, doesnt mean im pushing some narcotics, each to their own, also had a full kahn project rr a couple of years back.

chris5150 wrote:Black with black optics also...I could live with the front grill surround in chrome but I really hate the chrome around the windows, I hate chrome around the windows on any car, what is it with the 'we all love retro so lets put chrome round the windows' rubbish, its awful. Keep seeing a supercharged jag zipping about that looks very nice in black, but again spoilt by chrome round the windows. I will have a car with chrome round the windows once I hit 85 but not before.
kind my opinion too - I find all the brightwork on the std car a bit like all the chrome on a Jaguar

anyway apparently this is the chav Saxo I drive  :

Anyone here got a Deep Green RS4? The Audi configuration mini-site still has the cab up there (one last milking for summer?) but nothing beats a photo... but can't find anything with a Google Image Search. Can't imagine it but think it might look good with a red hood (or possibly a bit too Jag).
