Colour choice regret?

black saloon with optics and would not change, grey was a close second and looks ok with chrome but not keen on other colours with chrome

for my taste black with optics gives the car a far meaner, more aggressive look

Picked up an mint Avus silver saloon. At the time I wanted a black/optics saloon - got tired of looking/waiting for a good one. Now I have really grown to like the silver - tastes can change. Alex

Alex - can't beat Avus looks fab with silver optics is very discreet and dont forget its the fastest colour as well!!!!

Sprint Blue, black optics - the nuts!

I have to say at the time Sprint Blue was my third choice, my ideal when looking was a Mugello then Daytona. I've always had dark Audi's , Black A3 1.8T, Ming Blue S3 and brilliant black S4 but now I've had the RS for a while Sprint Blue is a grower. Looks great on a summers day and glazed / waxed.

No regrets in the end.

I've got black with chrome and I haven't yet regreted it for a second. for me, black optic with black takes away the prestige feel to it..too much of a boy racer thing for a car that expensive, that's just my personal opinion of course.

Ditto. Although I do like the dark blue (can't remember the name). There is a dark blue avant that parks near me at the station in the mornings and it does look good. Think if I got a different colour I'd be wishing I'd got the grey though.

Never really liked the black optics though. Personally I think the mirrors and grill really set off the car. Kinda feature detailing if you get what I mean.

I went for black with the standard chrome but ordered a black grill surround - bit of aggro up front but with the detailing where you need it

I love my Red beauty - many on here will probably disagree (I still dont know why), but it is a fantastic colour in the sun with the pearl clear coat - and its even more different as you dont see many about (they are all black or blue)
IMO anyway lol
