News from IAA: Next RS4

I talked to a guy from quattro gmbh at the IAA in frankfurt last friday. He definetly knew what he was talking about. New RS4 will not come before 2005, will have a V8 4.2, no turbo, and approx. 420-440 bhp.

I was reading an article recently (IAM mag I think) that was saying low pressure turbos were the way forward in order to reach the required emissions levels...

Oh well, better get them turbo equipped cars while you still can, eh [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I spoke to a guy from quattro GmbH at the IAA too, and he sad that thay don't know by now when the next RS4 will come out and what engine will have. And all other infos are just suck out of a finger.

I spoke with other Ouattro gay in Ingolstad and he say the same but he told me also that for 99% the next RS4 will have biturbo engine something about 3.0l and that workers on IAA has no infos about new RS4!

Or get Cosworth to build a highly tuned engine so we wont have to tune them.....

Adjustable GmbH suspension
Optimized exhaust system
Option to have no fog lights for better intercooler air intake temps
Composite brake system
Electronic handbrake system

It just wouldn't be an Audi RS without at least one turbo. If the rumours are true then that's madness!
