steering?

noticed a knocking noise on my car when i,m manouvering at low speeds, if i move the wheel left to right sharpish when stationary not enough to move the wheels i can hear a knocking through the steering column/wheel?

any ideas or had same problem? my mechanical knowledge is zero hence this thread

Hi,

I have had this problem with my rs4 avant.....the problem was the front passenger steering track arm and bushes - and these were replaced under warranty.
