Says with Sport off it's not much different to the OE exhaust in Sport mode, but with Sport on it sounds like a "proper" V8.

Once I've saved my pennies I reckon I'm going to go the non-res/valved route - then I can drive with Sport off when the wife is with me (I always drive with Sport on at the moment), and have Sport on at other times!

That would be me. Go non res/Valved if you want the best of both worlds. Stock "S" mode sound when you have S mode OFF (slightly louders at startup, but NO drone), and great sound with S mode enabled. I only get drone when in 4th, 5th, or 6th when it's lumbering around 2-3 K on the tach. Highway speeds, even in S mode, there is no drone at all, and I love it. If you want to kill some of the drone at 35-45MPH, then just turn S mode off and it instantly disappears. I'm rarely in drone territory but a few seconds, but I've tested it. Amazing what the muffler flaps will do. You gotta remember, this system opens/closes the flaps depending on RPM, so it's still very tame. It's pricey, but I'm glad I did the valved. You'll crap an egg on a cold startup. It sounds amazing.

Hope this helps,

Craig

I found just before I switched to resonated, the non resonated was slightly blowing, the clamp was not totally tight, now I'm not sure if this is why when I had the non-resonated I found it slugish and too loud? Not sure if the best solution is non-resonated valved, anyone in yorkshire with this setup or non resonated non valved to see the difference.
Funnily enough mine came off at the cats a few days after fitting as it wasn't pushed onto the cat pipes enough originally.

As i dropped down a few gears and nailed he throttle all hell broke loose as the pipes pulled apart - i though the engine had blow at first! To say it became loud would be a slight under statement! Car went straight back to the garage to be fitted 'properly'

In comparison its quiet as a mouse now!

RS4-RAG - you leak is probably why you feel throttle response is bette now. As far as i know a non res centre should have no effect at all on throttle response?

So do you still think you have the same amount of power or more with the Milltek, I feel the power is there with the resonated but wasnt there with the non resonated.

TBH i haven't noticed any difference through the ar*e dyno. The car can feel faster due to increased noise levels but nothing in it imho.
