My ECU is remaped by Digitic (not recommended) , but don't expect big difference with the remapping ,
in the feeling there is no difference , but in the numbers maybe there is a little

temp : 5c
tires : michelin PS2
shifting : faster than auto gearbox :P

Power confirmation

Post by LeeJR » Tue Jan 15, 2008 3:22 pm

Living in the United States near some large hillclimbs (greater than 5000 ft altitude changes over 4-5 miles) I can tell you I don't doubt the power claim. I can't tell you how many times I've blown by BMW 550s and turbo Subaru Legacies going uphill. The RS4 is deceptively smooth and doesn't give the massive surge that the B5 RS4s did. Given the weight of an RS4, the quattro, and everything, it's mighty quick. If you previously drove a turbo Subie or B5 you'd probably find the smoothness boring. I've done 130mph going uphill with my wife asleep in the passenger seat. Having driven 330 hp M coupes in comparison, the RS4 definitely makes 400 plus hp at the flywheel.

Can you tell me at what RPM did you launch the car?
Because I think that oem clutch is bad and if I launch the car over 4500 RPM clutch slips.
You times are impressive man

My best 1/4m time was 12,7s

i launched it @ 5500RPM , if your clutch is sliping in 4500RPM thats mean your clutch need to be replaced , i'm with you the clutch is bad thats because of the high grip from the QUATTRO , and i notesd that in the cold weather the clutch is perfect , but its very bad in hot weather

((sorry for bad english))

I know I need a new clutch and I wound that Sachs is making performance clutch kit with new lighter flywheel und its rated for 600 NM.
I will buy and install this clutch.

I know, If I could launch at higher RPM like you, I will have much better times.
