If all you can do is post negative comments, interrupting threads like these in the way that you do, then may I suggest you take these guy's comments to heart, and don't post at all

Tell that to the WRC guys!

The fastest way from A to B on anything other than dry tarmac is using the turbocharged AWD paradigm.

Nobody believed so until Audi bought out the UR Quattro.
So? In Nascar they race pick-ups too. That would kill an RS4 on track. So what?

Yet again we go off topic,

"So? In Nascar they race pick-ups too. That would kill an RS4 on track. So what?"

What has this got to do with the thread, can I suggest politely, you read the thread heading and post answers to that, not what you like to see. Is going to get to the stage where your posts are deleted soon.

Nice to see that the RS4 is holding its own. TBH - i couldnt give 2 hoots if the M3 or the C63 is better. I love my audi. Its not the fatest car in the world no.... but that doesnt change how much fun it is. Or how relaxing it can be.

If you want a car to mess about in (e.g drift) then a new car is not right anyway (especially not an auto).

P.S - Russian Dude, you seem like a complete ass

These sweeping generalisations really do make you look like an arse. Shame because for a while, you were actually alright and brought comedy value to the forum. Now you just look like a troll.

So I take it that you don't consider the 911 turbo, lambo murcielago/LP640 and Gallardo variants "real" sportscars (nevermind supercars) just because they have AWD ??!? :? . That being so, any credibility in your car knowledge has just gone down the pan. Sorry.

Breath deeply and think again.

Try and figure it out for yourself mate.

NASCAR?

I'm reminded of a Top Gear episode.

I believe it was the caption on James May's car that said it all....

Not wanting to take this further off topic but can I suggest that during this time of goodwill to all men etc all the forum members (16534 I believe) put a couple of quid in a hat and offer to buy the russian's car off him, im sure there is someone who would appreciate it more out there.

Any money left over could possibly go towards councilling after the trauma ther car has caused him.

Russian m3 dude or envious kid

Post by LeeJR » Sun Dec 16, 2007 7:07 am

this Russian m3 guy's comments often sound authoritative but are episodically immature, inflammatory, and inconsistent like he's never actually driven any car before. He reminds me of when I was about 12 or 13 years old and I would argue with my friends about who the best NBA player was or which car was the coolest. When my friends and I argued long enough we would degenerate into broad, sweeping statements like the ones posted by Russian m3 dude. Does anyone have proof that he's real or actually owns an RS4 or that he's not some 12 year old kid who thinks he's cool messing with all these adults who are so into their RS4s that they hang out on this forum?

Russian M3 dude, its now way past your bedtime. If you keep being bad Santas going to take away your "RS4" and make you play with a toy Yugo.

Hi LeeJR,
This guy is a forum troll...he's well known and not exactly popular over RS6.com forum as well. Here's the link he wants to prove he has one! http://www.rs6.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13860
But you know what, most topics ended up being debated about his opinions when he has any input (mostly negative of course) and that's exactly what he wants...ATTENTION. This thread really should be about JC and Top Gear's review on these cars....Don't let this dude get his way.

Indeed, I did wonder whether putting 'captain slow' in the RS was fair..

I was thinking about this and I am guessing that it may have been done at the Ascari circuit in Spain. Jeremy filmed his supercar showdown DVD there recently.

Regarding the straight line performance difference between the M3 and RS4, autocar made the RS4 slower from 0-150 mph by 0.3 seconds. Hardly a huge margin. The RS4 has the advantage below 100 )due to 4WD) and would likely get a better quarter mile time if driven properly. The M3 catches up at the top end, which is where the weight difference in the cars comes in.

I never said it was a gift. I was getting a company car, had a short test drive and leased it. Well, the company leases it and I pay the company.
