HELP

Post by sunshine » Fri Oct 19, 2007 2:53 pm

Does anyone know how easy (or otherwise) it is to remove the rear seat cushion? Especially for someone not known for his car DIY skills. My wedding ring came off and I heard i drop but cannot fint it anywhere under the front seats and the only obvious holes are for the seat belts and then down under the seat...

I know its only a few hundred quid for the ring itself, but its my wedding ring, so it matters!

Any ideas?

Thanks

Some wives say their hubby's are married to their cars. Now you could say she's married to it!

Sorry, can't help with the cushion :?

Yeah, rings on the top of your knob can be a pain...

She does like the idea of being married to the car though - apparently that gives her the right to give it a good thrashing now  I've told her to stick to flying when she needs her adrenelin thrills, but apparently the mile high club is beyond the limits of a Piper Tomahawk!

Thanks for the pics guys - I'll give it a go.

Tried lifting the seat as shown, but no joy. Don't want to force it only to find I've created a more expensive problem. Guess I'll have to see what the dealer says :?

Thanks anyway.

It's very easy to remove the rear seat. It's clipped in place at each corner, just give it a quick tug up-wards on both corners and seat comes out. Don't worry you cannot really do any damage.
