Extremely disappointing find-would love to hear your opinion

I'm going to take a much closer look at the paint thats peeling off... if i'm unlucky enough i might find a crack on the alloy. If that's the case then im lucky enough to claim that any impact strong enough to cause a crack in the alloy can almost surely mean some type of structural damage to the chasis.... then i can demand a new RS4... But that may be a little far fetched lol

Stop taking the PISS, have spent this kind of money on a Car?. I wonder!!

The same thing happened to my N/S Front Alloy.
I wrote a letter to Audi Customer Services & I have just taken the RS4 in today for a Brand New wheel fitting under warranty & I'm the 2nd owner of this car. So if I were you I would definately demand a New Wheel seen as you're the original owner of the car.
In fact I'm just off to pick the car up now. So fingers crossed thay have actually replaced it & not just repaired it.

I had my car delivered with 3 wheels that had been refurbed. I wrote a letter to the dealer and cc'd my legals and Audi UK and Audi De. Within 24 hours I had a promise of not only 4 new wheels but also the tyres were replaced FOC. Bare in mind I only had 2000miles and I had just got back from the Ring when they did change them, not my fault though as I told them at 500 miles.

Be nice and polite, unlike some who had there wheels refurbed on the cheap and then try to blame Audi, ala the engine and exhaust problems they had too. You will get the result you require as long as your honest and keep your temper. I as sure of this as the ultimate guy I spoke to at Audi told me the same.

Do remember though, the dealer and Audi are allowed to make small repairs to your car pre delivery. But they must also tell you if the have only if you ask that specific question. Thats why since my last RS I will always ask to see the PDI sheet, it has all the info as the stealer cant get the warranty money back from Audi UK unless its documented.

Beware of the "Sir, have you been using TFR?" comment. They think that this is the "way out" argument.

I had exactly the same problem with 2 wheels after only a few thousand miles, and the dealer denied any knowledge of it. After accusing me of doing the refurb myself, they finally agreed to replace the 2 wheels. The tale tale (which I didn't notice until the paint started flaking) was that the balance weights weren't the same on all 4 wheels (The factory ones are quite distinctive, and 2 wheels had the 'normal' balance wieghts on them. I've never received an explanation.
I thought it was shocking that they even suggested that I'd repaired the wheels. It certainly put a dent in my opinion of Audi, as I certainly expected a bit more respect after spending 55k on a car!
