Newbie Saying Hi !!

Just signed up - collect my new RS4 Avant tomorrow. Getting really excited !!

Mugello Blue, Buckets, GSM Phone Prep, Sat-Nav Plus, Rear Tints.

Thanks to TDiAvant and AudiJohn for pointing me to this site - some great background eading prior to collection.

I'll report back when I finally have the car !!

Well Diggler, nice to see you over here, you must be exited as hell waiting I know I was, I had trouble sleeping 8) , sounds crazy but it got to me. You will notbe disapointed once behind the wheel and the shear smoothness round the tightest bends will bring a smile very day, enjoy and of course a big welcome. :wink:

Nice colour choice!

picked mine up two weeks ago 650 miles on clock!

changed 535d to buy it was the best decision ever

also drove new M5 in my opinion its not as good as the audi please post a pick of new car.

Well can we now (when you finish driving the thing) have a "Glowing" report please, I hope it's not the exaust thats glowing though. :nogarors4:

John,

Due to the barsteward Postmen going on strike, the Registration documents (to transfer my plate) got delayed so delivery off !!

If you see a postman over the weekend, give him a huge slap and tell him from me that sooner or later, his Polish cousins will take his job and I'll applaud !!!!

Not a happy bunny - next week I hope !!!

2nd that the wait will be worth it.

Just got back from 2500 miles in 2 weeks touring France in my RS4 Avant (and bringing back lots of wine, what other car with this performance can carry 5 dozen bottles of wine half-way round France?) - had it nearly a year (29th July) and done over 13,000 miles, but still grin like an idiot every time I drive it (especially when you hear that V8 doing 8000rpm!!!).
