Oilman,
My concern with the unvalved Miltek system is that it might be a tad too noisey inside the car when I am not tin the mood.
e.g. on a long motorway drive with the wife and kids.
I don't want to lose the cruising refinement.
So how much nosier is it inside the car when you are taking it easy?

Must admit that within a small (200 rpm) band from 1900-2100 in every gear it is very boomy in the car. Outwith that it is a very impressive but not intrusive sound in the car.
You might be better asking for non resoanated front pipe.

I thought that the "non resonated" pipe would be louder.

You are right "non-resonated" is louder than "resonated".

...Oilman, just to clarify. You have the resonated system? I'm interested in the Milltek but can't really tolerate any droning (resonating). If yours is the quieter of the two models then maybe Milltek isn't right for me.

I have the NOISIER system. Might have ordered the quieter one in hindsight, but am getting more used to this one already and liking it!!

Don't know if they'e still offering it, but recently AMD Technik were offering 'free' de-restricting of speed limiter, on fitted RS4 Millteks from them.
