Today I spoke to Kim at QST and he has spoken to MTM in Germany (just to be 100%)... It seems that MTM have not released the supercharger for the B7 RS4 yet - plenty around for S4s but not a single one for RS4 B7s!!! MTM's test one is only on the Dyno now and not ready - it still needs to be altered so that the standard bonnet can be used. It seems that they just laughed when they heard that one had been fitted!

So I wonder what MADRS4 is on?.... and why he will not post any details... I guess because it is likely to be because he has no supercharger! :bigblink:

hm..that doesn't sound right.. Cause MTM responded to my email that they don't -yet- post tech data without further tests. True, that doesn't necessarily mean that the KIT has been installed in a car or that it's available.. The fun part is that the Greek rep of MTM told me to pass by and see the kits (they have 4 orders he said...) but I wonder... Is he really messing it with the S4 kit? I will have to check again...

What a mess :)

Personally I just wouldn't from a purists perspective.

The Rs4 V8 motor must be one of the sweetest, best engineered naturally aspirated engines. Bunging a blower on it seems a bit of a kludge.

You're absolutely right on that Simmo.. I share the same thoughts. Unless I would want to race with empty headed (@ 20-something years old) down the city streets... ("who's the fastest" game).
Not to mention to extra weight in the front of the car. Like if it's not enough already! For that amount of money (15K euros or more) I would go for super lighter rims and the ceramic brakes. But hey, that's just me :-)
HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY !!

Put this into context. I have another car that is about to have a GS Motorsports Super Charger fitted, $6995 for the kit, thats everything, £1200 delivery and TAX, approx £1000 to fit it and tune to best suit the car. 650 BHP, thats a genuine 540 rear wheel BHP!

Ok so the base car is a Chrysler SRT, but smiles per miles you can't beat it for value.

Good on you for doing it, but even in my books thats madness.
