How do you drive your RS4

Serious question, but everyone on here who raves about the car, how do you actually drive it day to day?

mjh ... I think the correct way to put would be, if you hammer it everyday will it last?? Based on the input from a recent topic 'abused RS4' I would say so far, yes. It seems that the RS4's used for the Audi experience (Silverstone etc) are well ... abused as it was correctly put. I have requested to know if the odo's are still connected and if so, what are the readings. So anyone going on the course please let us have the readings. If a unit lasts say 20k at Silverstone then it should last for life for us pvt owners.

The car I drove last week had 3800 miles on it and tax disc showed it was registered and I presume inserted into Experience use in April. The car was suffering front CV failure, warped brakes and a few bits were missing off it, including the RS4 badge in the steering wheel, which I guess was a prize for somebody. The interior of the car was fine, taking that at least 20 people climb in and out of the car all day when it is used. I believe it and its many mates were to be changed next April when the R8 is available.

Whenever i have the chance to open her up i will (only when she is up to tempreture) My favourite is at night on twisty b roads near me.

I've done just over 4000 miles since I collected my RS4 Avant in late July.

I drive it "enthusiastically", if I don't hit the rev limiter at least once a day I have been driving it delicately.

Nothing has broken, nothing has gone wrong, it feels as solid as the day I collected it, nothing squeaks or rattles and I've only had to add 1/2 litre of oil in total. I love it, and still get out of it grinning insanely!

The same here, it revs so quickly it is very hard not to do this

The phrase that comes to mind is ' driven like I stole it'.......... truth is probably not that hard as I would like to think I have mechanical sympathy..... but then I did get a nice photo of the bum of my car doing 39 in a 30

Engine-wise, I don't see why the RS4 shouldn't go on and on in terms of longevity as long as people abide by the warm-up/cool-down procedures. Similar examples of other marques with reliable N/A engines such as the V6 3.2L NSX...go on and on for 100k+ without any issues.

Wear and tear will obviously occur more quickly in other parts...e.g. suspension, brakes, clutch and gearbox but that depends on where it is driven (e.g. mostly city) and how it is driven (e.g. by someone with mechanical sympathy).
