That's it entirely. NA and turbo engines are different beast and the power delivery should not be compared. It takes time getting used to a NA engine after driving a turbo charged car. It took me weeks/months of getting used to mine and at first I thought my old car, S3 Stage II, was quicker than the current car, S4, but that was purely due to the shove in the back when the turbo kicked in.nidfix wrote:njw123 wrote: Some people prefer the ultimate thrust. In that case, it is better to look for a used B5 than to buy a B7.
Any news on the supercharged RS4 Plus yet?

Re: RS4 B5 v B7
Stop stop stop. You could not be more wrong. Maybe the B7 will be made in slightly larger quantities than the B5 RS4, but no waaaay is it going to breach 8000 total for the entire 3 year run, and that is global.simple1 wrote:That is this year...and already close to total build of B5 over two year period....rest assured. Audi will give the B7 the same treatment as the TT, build as many as you can sell.... remember the TT was originally only going to be limited production run of 5000 of each type..........thats more like 5,000,000 in todays money...
You're comparing those numbers to a TT?
GIVE me a break!!!
Here in the states the car is still new and rarer than hell. I get maybe 30 comments PER DAY on this car.
In a year I bet I will still be getting comments, maybe down to 10 a day
