RS4 cabrio - Which color???
RS4 cabrio - Which color???
I want a black interior and black top, so which exterior color goes well with it???
I can't take out of my head a misano red car with black top, black wheels, all windows tinted and lowered suspension. I'm afraid to get tired from the red color too soon, and i know that a red car will depreciate quicker because very few people like that color. Most say that red car only in a ferrari...
A silver could be a nice choice too, but it won't make the same contrast as black and red...
PS: IMHO a widebody car must have a light exterior color to make the difference from the others cars. A dirty black car it will seem at the first look a random car. I have this opinion because i have a steel grey E46 M3 and i wish i had ordered it in white or silver.

RE: RS4 cabrio - Which color???
Go for silver stunning
RE: RS4 cabrio - Which color???
No Mugello? that would be my choice.
RE: RS4 cabrio - Which color???
My local stealer got a sprint blue cab demo looks v nice.
I agonised over the same colour issue back in april. I think Mugello only looks right with the silver interior. Wasn't sure about Daytona on a cab - looks great on a saloon/avant. I didn't want a too loud a colour so I ended up with this, which I absolutely love.

Oh and I had a silver S4 cab before it.

Since there isn't much RS4 B7 bodies on the street, and the RS4 is a exclusive car compared with the 1.8t that as very similar appearance, i want to make the difference against the others B7 to justify all the extra money everytime i look at the car.
I like also the silver, but with the silver i will lose the aluminium windshield and mirrors look. Especially the mirrors that make the difference to the others B7 (except the S4, but this is a special car too).
I think that the white looks good only in the sedan. For me it is a too racing color for a cabrio.
About the Blue i think that it isn't a color for a everyday car. I will tire to soon with that color.
The black is always that color that you can't go wrong, but from the pics that i have seem, in the black cars you barely notice the fogs and front mesh and grilles and the rear exhaust diffuser, from the others B7 with S-Line exterior. You can see a wider car but not as wider as with light colors.
This is what i learned from my E46 M3 experience, light colors give a wider look and you notice better all the grilles shape than dark colors, and with a black top will evidence more the cabrio line.
PS: Thank a lot for all your inputs. This is really a nice forum to share some thoughts.
