Avant delivery date??

In Aus the RS4's are pretty much loaded up, the only optional extras are:
1. Ceramic brakes
2. Black exterior styling package (factory de-chroming of grill, window edges, roof rails, & exhaust)
3. Double glazing of windows (additional security & noise insulation)
4. Sun-roof
5. Solar-roof?
6. Manual blinds for rear passengar door
7. Electric Recaro seats (instead of the RS Bucket seats)
8. Electric Recaro seats with memory function (including mirror)
9. Front seat heating

Is this the same with you guys?

Hi everybody. I have been lurking here for a while and really appreciate some of the information I have gleaned from the site - for that many thanks!

My situation - I specced an avant as soon as the books opened (in March I think). My dealer had offered me his only slot for 2006 (apparently). He has seemed to be pretty straight with me and doesn't seem to have fed me too much bs. Last week he told me that my car had an unconfirmed build slot of week 26 (i think). This week apparently it has moved back to week 43! He says that a number of other slots have been moved around (eg for Q7).

I noticed somebody mentioned the recarro seat options? are they delaying cars with that spec? I am of "solid" build so chose recarros, especially as I will be using the car at least weekly for 100+ mile round trips.

Can anybody shed any further light? I am now looking at not getting th ecar much before the end of the year, which is very boring.

Twas me who mentioned about the delay with recaros. I am sure someone on this forum told me about this. I think this was borne by the fact that after a month of the saloon being out, no-one seemed to have one without buckets, hence there seemed to be a delay. Does anyone now have (or have seen) a saloon without buckets??
