Having written a very unhappy letter to Audi Customer Services at Milton Keynes about the lack of the TMC function working, yesterday I had a phone call from them.....

I couldn't believe what I was hearing and they were actually on the point of being hostile on the telephone... all because Audi haven't bothered to buy a TMC licence in the UK. I was also told that I was pretty much a liar because TMC never worked on a B5 RS4 - when actually it worked fine on the 3 examples that I previously owned.

Has anybody else out there had contact with Audi at Milton Keynes and been treated like ????

To me it is pretty clear that they certainly do not care about their customers. I am totally ed off with them - all I want is my car to work properly and at the moment there is a function that does not work. It seems that they have little intention of putting this right and on the purchase of a £55,000 motor I think this is 100% wrong.

Do you think it would work if you put in a compatible disc from another manufacturer?

I'm not sure that there are any compatible discs - how do you find out?

Try sending a mail to these people, they are good to the point of being brilliant....they should be able to tell you what the system is and what is/going to be available in the near...

We regret to inform you that we don't have a definite release date yet for a TMC enabled UK DVD.

Not that useful!!! Although it does imply that there will be one, which is better than Audi's response of FXCK OFF.
