S6 plus hunting/ importing to UK

i have known about the s6+ for a year or so, love the V8 and different value int eh cars. i am interested in importing an avant. only s6plus.de seems to have anything and from my research says anywhere between none and 2 in the UK... anyone know, know off, or even have one of these that could persuade me for and agianst such a beastie.
just in the process of selling my current 4th audi (B4 2.8 coupe quattro) and the S6 plus (and the early V8 s4) appeals to me.
i speak NO german at all but have the gumption to use a translator. I have a mate who i know is on here but is in the RS4 community which is way out of my league price wise, the S4 2.7tt is in budget but honestly i fancy an NA engine again. advice and opinions welcome before i go for a bmw 330ci which is the only onther thing i have found that i like...
