Well today was the day that my local dealer here in Holland reprogrammed my ECU with the Revo program.
I was very nervous cause it was the first car to be revo'd by him, even me i could not sleep last night, i thought what should happen if windows crashed when it was in program mode, should i ever start my car again ?
Well everything went ok, and within 15 min. everything was ready, so i went for a short test drive .
already at first gear i could notice that my car was willing to pull very hard, so after a short warmup i decided to give more gas, and yes there is a big amount of torgue and power, my first reaction was WOW !!!.
i think the most gain is between 1500-4500 rpm
after my short test i went back to my dealer and we changed also the standard Valve with an Bonalume Valve.
well back again for testing, the first thing i noticed is after putting the turbo alive and releasing the gas the valve give a nice sound ( like pffffffffffffff ) even in the short time i drove my S3 with the new valve i thought that it was more faster than with the standard vale !!
Althoug it is my first day with the revo code, all i can say is that i will have a good sleep tonight.
setting is Low-Boost 9 ( standard revo setting i assume )
greetings from holland

So do you plan any other mods?

the car is already lowered with sport springs by H+R, the only mod what i want to do more is replacing the front brake disc with an original audi disc and drilled it, together with the brembo calipers and pads.

i thought the seat cupra R has a simular brake system, my local dealer said that the original disc from the audi S3 are very good, he uses these discs and drill holes in it , than use the brembo calipers and pads, it's much cheaper than a complete brembo brake-set.

Kriszty, I have a new brembo caliper/disc set up on my car for £650 which uses 324x28mm discs - however I wasn't aware that there was a brembo caliper set to fit with the standard S3/TT disc size (312mmX24 iirc) - maybe these brembo calipers your dealer wants to use are from the ibiza cupra R which uses a smaller disc/caliper? Hi kriszty,
due to the weight of your car (mine is 1460kg), the smaller caliper/discs from the Ibiza Cupra R may not be up to the job - as a minimum, you need to be using standard size S3 discs, or upgrade to the Brembo caliper from the Leon Cupra R which uses the larger 324x28mm discs or even consider the bigger Porsche/Movit upgrade route which are considered to be the best by many people on here.
However, after having a good discussion with someone last night, brake longevity seems to be affected by the way people drive their cars and brake application style, as well as allowing the discs/pads to warm up and cool down sufficiently.
