Had some time on my hands today and had a go at looking what a black grill would look like?

After a quick play with some insulation tape...

Done:

Aero wipers (F&R)
Replaced damaged engine bay trims
Eibach Lowering Springs
Adjustable control arms to sort the camber - my word, I can't describe how much better the handling and feel is after getting the geometry done!
Replace tatty antenna base
Headlights machine polished to return clarity
Wrap front grill

To do:

Replace cracked mirror cases with replacements soured from Nills
Retrofit cruise control
19" wheels and tyres - MTM's preferably...

Are the adjustable control arms the 034 ones? I've found some MTM wheels for my car, but might spend the money on ceramic brakes instead, if so, you'll be the first to know the details as they're a good price.

MTM's need to be 5x100 not 5x112 and not too wide like the C5 ones. Anyway, why the hell would you put b7 ceramics on your plus? :bash:

Ah, these are 5x112.

Why the B7 RS 4 ceramics? Simple. The B7 RS 4 (non ceramic) brakes are the same as the C5 RS 6 ones. So, I have it in my head it should be a fairly straightforward swap over. They'll look quite special too, I've been pulling my hair out thinking of what I can do to my RS 6 to make it a bit special, OEM 380mm ceramics is my answer. I just need to investigate how the coding will work as the C5 wasn't ever offered with ceramics. Sorry for the thread rape.

Its a Sprint Blue Plus. That was as special as it ever needed to be!

LOL. Extra special then ;)

It is the heart making the decisions with this car, not my head. DK, can you remember if it was a straightforward swap when Danny took your brakes?
