Hi,
Ive been driving a 2003 Tdi sport 130bhp the past 6 months. It has plenty of torque but not very quick off the line.

Im thinking of buying a 2002 S3 225bhp but I noticed that the torque on this car is less that the 320 NM on my Tdi.

Is there a huge difference between these cars in terms of overall speed?

Hi,

All i can say is that i am very lucky to own a B6 A4 Quattro Sport Avant 1.9 PD 130 which has been chipped to 170bhp and about 300lbft & a S3 8L which has also been chipped to revo stage one.

Both cars are awesome but you miss the power when hopping from the A4 to the S3. Before i had the S3 chipped it was still faster. They are a great little number.

If you do buy one, make sure it a good example.
