i wouldn't say i drive to hard but the ring is very demanding. there was an S3 there at the same time i was and she warped and cracked her discs. have been told a set of steel group n ones will be fine with a set of ferodo pads.

when you say your going std soon do you mean brakes or are you selling your car?

I meant getting standard brakes, which is the same as now.

How much are those discs and pads you refer too?

well if i go group n over brembo max, its £100 over £120 and the ferodos are about £100. Not cheap pads but they work very well.

what do you get mpg's on the motor way?

well, now i have had it revo'd on a combined motorway, urban and trash roads i am getting 30mpg's. but as i only to urban really i am sure it will be lower.
last week on a trip to enfiled, i was getting 34mpg going about 75 with cruz on. anything over 3000rpm and its drinking it up at a rate of 26mpg and that is running it on tesco finest.

but since having it revo'd and putting in my filter and blanking off the rcdv it sounds sweet. just like my old R5! the turbo really sings after 3000rpm. going to run the revo over it tonight and try to get a power reading.
