Sump Plug

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone here has heard of a "common problem" with the S3 sump plug breaking and consequently damaging the sump when being taken out for oil change?

The reason being is that Audi have just charged me for such an occurence however I can't see any reports anywhere of this being a "common problem". I've paid for it which makes my life a bit more difficult but having looked in to it a bit more it looks like they are trying to pull a fast one on me.

Any knowledge/experience of this would be grateful.
