Potential S3 purchase

Post by clubsport » Sun Feb 10, 2008 9:41 pm

I have owned a B5 S4 for the last 3 years....I am considering a change and a hatchback may be useful.
Has anyone gone from B5 S4 to S3...any thoughts?

Ideally i would like a 2001 facelift in Nogaro with under 50k miles...there are a few around, but some of the prices seem a little optimistic.

Despite my S4 being a low miles serviced car it appears it is a buyers market, where as I am expected to yield and pay up for an S3???

I appreciate you guys on here are likely to say the S3 is the best car ever etc....but am I likely to find my S3 for £9500-10k cash?...cheers..

Hi mate, you had any luck with finding an S3 yet?

Mines for sale in the classifieds, not noggy blue, and the miles are higher. But its a mint example 2001 facelift, full Audi history, a little magic dust from MRC too. Its also sensibly priced.

Anyway take a look and see what you think.

Ive just bought a facelift after spending ages and ages looking at complete and utter sh!te. Anything nagaro blue seems to cost a small fortune. I wouldnt worry so much about the mileage if the car has got full service history, mines done 104k and drives like new (except for the bloody coil packs!), ok its absolute red and has half black leather and cream alcantara, neither of which I wanted but I ended up buying the best car I could that was within my budget-£7500 and ended up buying a complete minter fo £6550!!! I had a subaru impreza with nearly 300bhp before this and would never, ever go back! Good luck
