BOSE Speaker covers on a 1999 s3... did they have them???

Hey all. i got told my car had BOSE in when i bought it. it has the bose sub as it says bose on it but the speaker covers do not say bose on them??? did they only put the bose speaker covers on the facelift models????

Listen to an A3/S3 without BOSE. You can tell the difference.
