S3 Problems... Help..

I have a 2001 210hp S3, sometimes find the fuel gauge reading empty, temperature gauge reading high when trhe engines coolish and a clicking noise comming from by the coolent bottle (charcole canister?). All these things seem to happen at once.. The car is fitted with a Revo and i've heard some bad things about them allthough opinions differ..
I know on a4 and S4s the fuel tank sender is quite a common problem.
Someone tell me whats up with it please....
