low miles s3 210bhp ? 225?

or face lift

s4 ?????????????

I had about £10K to spend and bought an S4

Depends if you have kids, want to use it for holidays, track days, want to mod etc....

I have kids so wanted 4 doors. Didn't realise it had no rear legroom though!

Heart says s4 ………………………..two blowers …………………….nice

Head says s3.………………………….one blower not as nice

Go with the S3
All things being equal when chipped there ant to much in it, although the S4 kicks out 30-40 bhp more when you add the extra lard they do the quarter mile within .06 seconds of each other.....

However the S3 still has petrol left in the tank

I really wanted an S3 then i went for the S4 at the last minute. interesting in standard form the s3 is slightly quicker round Nurburgring.

I'm glad i went for the S4 though when standard it's hard to describe it as a drivers car, sort the suspension and brakes and your are a map away from a truly great car.

I'd hazard a guess that the standard S3 would be more fun than a standard S4 but not as good to drive across Europe.

Maybe But I did drive though france into spain last summer then right across to italy and back 5k ish total miles at is was great....

PS there was two of us with camping gear
