Coolant Temperature Warning light

Can anyone, help?

I have a problem; whenever the temperature is below 5c (ie most of the time in the mornings at the mo.) my Coolant temp warning light is flashing. It continues for about 1 min then disappears and the display reverts to normal.

I mentioned this to the Audi dealership last time I was in there and they couldn't find any record of the problem on the onboard computer. They told me to monitor it and let them know... not very helpful.

Has anyone had this before and what was the resolution?

Thanks

You should find that its a known issue - it showed up once on my car about 2 years ago and the dealer swapped the coolant bottle under warranty

Just to let you know this was fully rectified by replacing the 'coolant pressure bottle' the part was only £10 inc VAT! :beerchug:

Thanks Dunc!

NB That beep is the most annoying noise early in the am.
