Clutch Change

Post by tominski » Thu Nov 02, 2006 3:27 pm

Hi,

My clutch is feeling like its starting to slip sometimes and so am looking into changing it.

Currently the car is running an AMD remap, samco hoses and TIP, ECS N75 race valve, DV Cold side relocation and Forge DV.

Any recomendations on what clutch to fit?? and where will do it??

Being told by local garrages that its a 7.5 hr job to do! That correct??

Thanks,

Tom.

The scirocco G60 clutch is very good alot of my dad's mates use it with 300bhp+ not too expensive either. Had my new clutch fitted while engine was out but I know it's fairly expensive to do usually 500-700quid probably is an almost engine out job
