Hi has anyone had this problem? if so what was the fix.

S3 2002 70k chipped.

Problem 1
Some times when hitting boost the clutch slips for about 5 houndred revs then its ok i have noticed its mainly in 3/4/5/6 gears.

Problem 2
Did a 250 mile trip the other day all motorways as above but carried on slipping until i took my foot off the throttle.

And just to add a spanner to the works took it out today gave it plenty of right foot NO SLIPPING of clutch......

HELP.

If it slipped yesterday and not today it sounds there might have been some oil on the clutch. This could come from a broken seal either from the engine or gearbox. Keep an eye on it for now, these sort of problems tent to get worse an are easier identifiable then. In any case if the problem returns the labour will be pretty much the same.
