Water pumps!!!

When my belt was replaced the Audi dealer also replaced the water pump, I doubt all of them do.
It's a very common problem with these plastic impeller pumps and afflicts most later VAG cars from A4 TDI to Golf 1.8T.
On the plus side the part is quite cheap to buy.
