S3 Gear Knob

does anyone know how I can remove the S3 gear knob?

Ive got the gear gaitor up and there seems to be a silver aluminium tie around the base of it?

do what i do, go into your local halfords and open an A3 haines manuel look up what you want and stick it back on the shelf!

you have to cut that silver clip off with some heavy duty wire cuters. dont snip into the leather. you can then use a small jubilee clip to replace it.
