Can anyone tell me the parts needed to carry out the 50k service?

I'm thinking of getting a friend who's a VAG mech do actually do the service, or is it a better ides to go main dealer?

Is there any alternative to buying the parts from a main dealer?

Check your Audi Service Schedule in your handbook. It should tell you what needs doing.
AFAIK 50k (miles) is an inspection service, so just an oil change and a good look round the car for anything obvious.

It may also be worth checking your Haldex oil and filter was changed at 40k (miles). Main dealers generally seem to miss that out, likewise the fuel filter, as I can't seem to see a note for this in the manual.
