Buying an S3

Hi All,

New to the forum. Currently own a Cupra (Yeh, the poor mans A3!). Want an S3, Seen one but apprehensive about the price?

Basically its a 52 plater, 38k, FASH, Extras are 19' 9 Spokes, Chrome Mirrors, Sat Nav/TV, its blue with half leather interior and wants £17995.

All is in place, car is great got cheap (Ish) insurance but something keeps bugging me to get an RAC check on it!!

Can anyone give me pointers/need to worry? I know my cars a but but not S3's! So any advice would be greatfully rec'd.

Hi , mines an 02 plate with 18s , mirrors, mapped, tip,d/v, d/p 100cell cat ,milltek and eibachs. Similar mileage. Probably 16.5 - 17 maybe. As long as its nice and clean and uk car not overly expensive. Are cheaper ones about though.

Thanks Chris, the car is clean and also found out is has a tracker. Got a friend looking later for me to pend my final decision!

You mentioned RAC check, well you should get that or HPi equivalent done anyway.

Also 19" wheels were not an option, so they must be aftermarket fit.

Other than that the car sounds good

Hi all thanks for your input, after alot of seasrching I finally found my S3. Pics will be done when I polish it and will post here.

Its the same colour, 52 plate with all the trimmings....And wait for it, 15k on the clock!!! V Happy, what a car.

Will post some pics when I get them
