how wide?

guys how wide are the s3 alloys, as im looking into getting new tyres and wondering is 225/45/17 will fit on them.

i currently have 245/45/17

I think it´s 7 1/2pol, not pretty sure. The original size ot the tires that come with the S3 is 225/45/17, so they will fit. In my car, I use MPS 235/45/17 Y.

I can confirm that the standard s3 alloys are 7 1/2" . Wouldn't wan to go much wider than 225 myself.
