I recently changed my 15 mm rear ARB and my 19 mm front ARB to the Neuspeed items, which are:

22mm front
19mm rear

These bars also come with poly bushes.

The front end really bites now and goes where you point it. It does feel as if there is more front end grip. You can feel the back end working more now but i would say the car also feels pretty neutral to drive. Its honestly removed understeer and has transformed the cars handling. Some people have been going for just the rear upgrade which supposedly transforms the handling, but based on some recommendations (and mathematical calculations!) I went for front and rear as I didnt want to just add more potential oversteer and then possibly removing rear end grip.

IMO this modification is up there with getting your car chipped - well worth the outlay, no question.

You might be able to whizz around the bends but you still need more power for the straights

What bar have you got on the rear? 16mm or 19mm?

slightly off topic...but I was planning on more power but read a thread on AS.NET about a guy who blew his 350 bhp engine (in europe) and he said that he had excessive oil usage before the tuning, and felt this was related to the cause...worried me as my car uses a lot of oil..

Ps anyway Simon I am sure you could knock up some roll bars out of a bit of 4 by 2

I can agree that this mod is excellent, it's fitted to my S3 also.

Re more power for the straights, it's always nice, but the difference in cornering ability more than compensates.

Worth mentioning for any prospective buyers that Neuspeed only list the bars for the TT, but they are compatible.
