All this RS3 stuff doesn't make sense to me... :?:
Every German car magazin says Audi will no longer build engines with turboS!
If it accerlerates in less than 5 sec... that's better than the new Porsche Carrera (997) and close bhind the Carrera S (4.8 sec.).
Why should we buy an RS4 then?

Because the RS3 is a lifestyle car and not much use for those of us with dogs, children, and old fridges to move. Although I agree to a certain extent.
The question is, does an RS3 encrouch on the sale of current or current planned Audi models? Or will it, as hoped, increase sales from buyers of other cars such as the 997 (although it will be a very different market that the 997 is aimed at.)

My guess is that the pricing quoted is wildly innacurate, as it was when the current RS4 was rumoured to be arriving. Initial sources suggested that the RS4 would be priced around £38K plus extras. When it arrived it started at £46.5.
I think that a more realistic price for an RS3, which will stop any cannibalistion of S3 and RS4 sales would be to pitch it at £38.5K plus extras.

It doesn't look different enough to me from the front, but I do certainly like it. Not a fan of the new A3 shape, but I'm sure with 350hp I could forgive it :D Four exhausts, always good.

Rock on

RS3

And here comes the Swiss version of RS3. Looks neat enough to me.
CHF 80,000 is steep, though.

I belive the cops in Salford, Manchester have one of thses RS3's .
Chipped up, some kind of import. I dont know if it is a Left hooker, But a mate of mine says he has been out in it.

I find it hard to belive if no one else has seen one but he says its true. May be a test car, he did not mention if it was righ or left hand drive.

I think he said it was Black.

The Moral of the story is. If you see one round Manchester dont mess.

It will be trying.

Gordon.

I doubt very much that it's an RS3.... I could be wrong, but I would be surprised if it is true.
