my timing belt crisis
my timing belt crisis
just to get back to you's regarding my timing belt problems. Basically the timing belt failed and its going to cost me £2600 to fix but audi have offered to pay 70% of the parts costs but nothing towards the labour. i think its pretty poor from audi that they not paying anything towards the labour but l suppose its something that they are paying 70% of the parts. this is still going to leave me to pay about £1500. wat you's guys think of the offer? Re: my timing belt crisis
Ok so they have offered you something.
But if you motor was not due for a service then surely it's Audi's fault.
If they say it's down to milage or time interval and your motor has not reached that stage then it's there responsibility surely.

Re: my timing belt crisis
If they won't budge then get a quote from somewhere else like AmD or QST to see how that compares.
