Right as your probably all aware that i cant get insured on any car but the S3 as the maxium car.

Im happy with my S3 and it is somewhat a rare colour [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] which i love with the combination of alloys.

I`ve been offered any car to the value of 25k aslong as all proceeds after selling my current S3 go into the buisness.

Nothing really fills my requirements apart from the S3 (considered a RX8).

So i went to hunt for another S3.......... found only one which is brand new and unregistered [img]images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] buts its priced at a expensive price (EU Import).... here`s the spec compared to mine.

As you can see the new car doesnt have BOSE sound system [img]images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] and some other nice options that mine has.......

What do you think i should do?
This car will be on fianance for 3years and obviously will one of the last S3`s made if not the last.

Do i keep my current car or buy the new one.

If I were you, you have to do whats best for you not just for now, but for the future as well.. I'm in the same dilemma myself.. I have an option to buy another property but in the process of wanting to do that I have to put up my 2 cars for sale..

I really wanted to buy another S3 initially but I had to think to myself.. I'd get a newer one for about a year drive it and pose in it for over a year and get bored of it while losing money on it at the same time.

My conclusion was to make sacrifices...I'm getting shot of it and the A3, to buy a mini...Yes a mini!! If I buy the property...it wont crash, have ESP or turbo problems and I can only see it appreciate.. so there you go..

In about another 2 years.. I'll buy whatever I think I want and can afford at the time performance wise..saying that, looking at the S3 you're looking at, considering your current one is of a higher spec bar the SatNav+, I wouldnt buy it.

Thank you for you input.... this is what i was thinking also... but i wont be paying for the new S3 [img]images/graemlins/nodder.gif[/img] i will still keep paying off my 2year loan with the bank.... its a complicated choice...... if and its abig IF a new S3 does arrive before i sell the next S3 it`ll take a big resale value battering....... then on the other hand the business could really do with this extra cash injection if i sold my current S3..... feck....... i will have to think long and hard......

How about the new A3 3.2 Quattro ok it's not got the S3 badge but by all acounts it every bit as good as the currant S3 just checked on the audi site you could get one brand new for just over 25k with a bose system. But if you think long term invest in the company and get an RS4 in the future (spelling).But remember your alone time dead [img]images/graemlins/bowdown.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/s4anogaro.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/FIREdevil.gif[/img]

Hee hee true about the new A3 but its not really that sporty [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] my plans were all delicately planned...

got 2 years of loan left to pay off just in time for a new RS car..... getting a new car wont really change much except meaning its 0miles on the clock with full manufacturers warranty, new tyres and wear and tear parts like clutch, gearbox, disc`s and pads etc.

I`m 23 at the moment and will be 25 in 2 years time.... just in time for a RS car [img]images/graemlins/biggrin3.gif[/img] lets hope my plans work out ok.

What you are after really is a few low valuations for your car. Lets say two at £17k and one at £16k.

Forgive me if I misunderstand, but this basically means forget a new car really. You are being given £8k.

Thats serious wedge to be putting towards modding the arse off your current car.

Go for stuff that will be insurance friendly. Movits all round, proper rubber (Yoko AVS) decent suspension, VDO Dayton sat nav, driver training [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]
