Recaro nappa seats
Recaro nappa seats
Just wondering, my car has now covered over 16,000miles and the seats are looking ok in my opinion.
I always every 5000miles use autogylm leather cleaner.
Has anybody had problems with heat or rip`s and tear`s?
Ive seen some cars where the leather looks so worn, obviously this might put-off potential buyers in the future.
Could it be because im a skinny get and dont weight much, hence why my seats still look ok`ish?

Re: Recaro nappa seats
Not sure about the Audi seats specifically, but in previous cars with Recaro Leather I've always used Baby Wipes (yup with moisturiser). Why you may ask; the guy who came to fix our leather couch recommended them and said it was skin after all so it needs moisture. Apparently it’s what the upholstery trade use anyway.
Consequently, I've never had any problems with wear but I know what you mean, there’s nothing quite like a shabby leather interior to put you off a car.
The leather dressings are also very good, I used one couple of times a year, but in the mean time - baby wipes are my weapon of choice and cheaper
Hope this helps

Riz, it has to be said your seats r looking well mint! - Must clean mine more! I think continuous treatment is the key to keep the leather moist, it`s when they start to dry out that it`s too late.

P.S.
The problem i have when cleaning is the dash! Especially the top (under windscreen) where the finish is very rough. Cloths always leave bits behind - pain in the arse!
Any Ideas?

Re: Recaro nappa seats
I was originally going to get a S3 with the leather / alacantra interior mainly due to the way leather looks after so many miles.... so i bought some Autogylm leather cleaner and conditioner (before i knew of extreme car car) but found that the conditioner made the seats look so shiny, they looked cheap.
So i just stuck to cleaning them every 5000miles or so.
I do tend to go overboard sometimes when cleaning the car.

Re: Recaro nappa seats
I find that the S3 interior doesnt get dirty that quicky so very rarely needs cleaning, but when i do i use the leather cleaner too works a treat.
Im sure Bushy can give some tips on interior cleaning under the Care Cleaning forum.
Im still waiting for all my autogylm stuff to run out before i buy from Extreme Car Care.

big boobies?
try sub 9 stone
So maybe my 0-62 times will be even faster considering Audi AG probably used a fat german bloke for testing the original figure.
