Re: S3 Wheels 19/18s
I believe Chelsea Mick had 19s before the 18" RS wheels.

Re: S3 Wheels 19/18s
He He....Thanks Paul
Lloyd.
I did have 19" wheels on my S3. They were Ace130 19x8.5" with 215/35 Tyres on. At the time I also had H&R -30mm lowering springs on standard shocks.
Now this is only my opinion but I wouldn't recommend 19's to anyone for the S3. The ride was totally bone shattering. I could feel every bump and pothole on the road. It was so hard. As you can see from the above piccie it did look good but it wasn't at all practical on the road. Changed the 19's for the 18's with 225/40 tyres and added Koni's. This made the ride a lot more acceptable.
This is only my opinion based on my experience. There might be someone out there with 19's that will tell a different story...

Rochford Tyres do 18's and 19's replicas. They also advertise on EBay with special prices sometimes. I got my 18's from them. The only thing is the centre caps they supply with the alloys are chromed so I brought some OEM ones from Audi and had to slightly modify them to fit, but nothing too hard to do...

Can't beat a bit of boost!
Re: S3 Wheels 19/18s
thanks all, i may come back and ask more questions if i have trouble fitting orginal centre caps...how much did audi charge you for them???? 50 or 60 quid i bet??
The ones from Rochford seem much cheaper than AMD i guess they must all be the same. both have the F1 goodyears on.

Its cheaper for you to source your own tyres I found
The centre caps are £16.50 each IIRC from Audi.
