Just a quick question really, this will be the first time millers is injected into my fuel tank.... so i was wondering if i should do anything out of the ordinary? do i just put it in and follow the instructions on the bottle?
I will test it and see if it makes a difference.... if so i will get some more [img]images/graemlins/tung2.gif[/img]

I can remember it saying on the bottle that you must poor the millers into the tank whilst its fairly empty, then when you fill up, it mixes better with the fuel going in.

Needless to say, you will look a tit, as I did, pooring this stuff into your car on the Shell station forecourt. [img]images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img]

Also, I couldn't tell any difference when running Millers. But I expect its like optimax in that you've got to use it continually to notice any gains. You know, ECU adjusting to the higher octaine etc.

Hey, if you are going to do it though, you should do it properly. I've had the millers bottle spewing it out down the side of the car once or twice. Not good.

Get yourself down to Halfords (or another place) and buy a "long-neck" petrol funnel. Not your normal, orange, oil top-up funnel. The petrol ones have a flexible neck and large capture area. The neck is long enough to stuff into the petrol tank hole, and it stays there, allowing you to poor in the millers carefully. No need for funnels, the neck of the bottle is long enough.

I get strange looks at the petrol statio too! Putting Millers Octane Booster and Optimax in a car with a 1.9Tdi badge on the back (see my gallery pics). "That's unleaded in that pump mate" come the cries, "really, oh well can't do much harm can it" is my usual response. Would be funny if a real Tdi owner saw what I was doing and thought it was a good idea too [img]images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] [img]images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img].
