When i say centre console, I mean armrest.

My car is very solid, its only on crap roads I notice it and most of Sydney is like this

Put me on the freeway and I can hear myself breathing!

But on a crap road, the sqeeky seats & rattly centre console drive me NUTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTS!

My armrest rattle was the passenged seat belt clasp rattling against the armrest whilst in the lower "racing" position.

Mine sounds like its the lid on the armrest. Theres nothing inside the compartment, it just rattle/clanks, almost as if theres something lose.

Ill get Audi to check it out next time I'm down that way..

Just had a squirk, 2.17am and its 14degrees, car had no problem hitting some pretty insane speeds around Sydney suburba :P
It just rained too, so its all fun

Ah, I love the S3!

I`ve got a rattles too but really am not that picky about them, afterall things like this can/will happen, its all just screwed togeather afterall.

I`m not sure this will cure the rattle from the dash but if you unclip the fuse area cover near the drivers door there`s are fuse remover in there which if not cliped in correctly will rattle alot. mines ok now.

I`ve only got the following rattles now :-
Center Armrest and both doors.

S3 is still up there when it comes to quality.
