I had a fully built gt3071 S3..IE rods...ported head...044 motorsport pump...630 cc injectors custom copper clutch...3 inch dp and exhaust and a few other odds and ends

Prices on turbos are a lot better for you guys than here in SA. That being said if I were to do it all over again I would go for a t3 t4 hybrid in the same spec as the 3071...you lose very little in terms of boost response, the turbo is serviceable and its less than half the price of a gt30...

It's interesting to hear that you found a t3 t4 hybrid to be a good alternative to the gt3071 in terms of boost response and price. I agree with you that it's always important to do research and consider various options before making any engine modifications. I'll definitely keep your advice in mind if I decide to make any changes to my engine.
