Post by timba » Thu Nov 03, 2005 1:47 pm

Hi All

New to this forum but have had my Noggy Blue S3 for a year.

Saw that AMD are doing Vat free installation of their chips at the moment and wondered if any of you guys have had experience of the AMD re-map in your S3, was considering MTM but Amd is half the price !

Any info be appreciated

cheers

Al

Hi and welcome,

Dont rule out MRC Tuning or Jabbasport - these two perofrm custom mapping for your car.

another consideration is Revo.

I've had the AMD remap - nothing wrong with it really but down to personal preference. Before you commit, try and get a go in a few cars that have the different remaps. Revo do a 5 hour trial so at least you can see if you like the remap feeling!

also try searching the forums (here, TT forums and TSN/Audi-sport) - remaps for these cars have been discussed plenty of time.
