Hi tanya,

I think I read your post on Audi-Sport. I too have been thinking about this and have come to the conclusion that perhaps some sort of right angled pod that clipped on to the air vent that is between the speedo and the wing mirror(rather like those naff air fresheners or mobile phone holders) would work. The vacuum/boost tube could be fed to come up inside the vent or from the "A" pillar into the back.

I have some ideas about making one - if I can easily make it look nice then I could make a few. If you came to sell the car then you could take it out without leaving any screw holes etc. If I could get hold of some of the stuff that the dash is covered in then it would make things easier.

Tidiest ones I've seen attach to the a-pillar. See gaugeshop.co.uk

Very nice! Shame about loosing the S3 logo and no vacuum?

Yo can have one exactly the same as the OCT style guage but you dont need to replace the rev counter. Its a complex diy job but looks the mutts nuts
