You never know what gain you'll get till you try. Why not just get a Revo trial to see what happens? If we get to meet up at some point then take me out in your car and I'll tell you what the difference between my old one and your is.

Cheers

Ben

the trial doesn't work on my car, they tried!!If i want revo i will have to go to revo hq in dav.Owens rollers have a reputation of reading low,and i'm sure there cupra r with revo only made around 260hp.I will see what happens at amd,i'm sure the stock turbo and fuel runs out at 280-300hp.

Ryan, I think it will still be worth a remap, as you have 243lb/ft of torque currently, my car (on AMDs RR) had 300 lb/ft, with 260 lb/ft at 6k rpm, which even if that was 20 lb/ft out, its something you would defenitely notice in driving with the old butt dyno.

I know the Revo stuff doesn't work on your car but that really should be something that you'd best sort out!
It may be a hassle but you need to get that fixed. I took the day off and went to Revo HQ and spent a couple of hours with Mitch and he really knows how the software works on your car and got it fixed up. Even put a collar in the intake hose to stop it collapsing. Never parted with a penny either. Diagnosed and prooved bad MAF which I'm sure Audi would have charged me £xxx for.

hi,
not in any rush to get the car chipped (it probably already is)i'll see what it makes on amd rollers and ask them if they did the chip on the car(if it has one). Not really many more mods i can do to the car, without going for the jabba turbo kit.I mean i'm say 16bhp down on hp to a revo re-map and 40lb/t down on torque .torque is proportional to boost,so obviously turning the boost up to 1.4 bar from 1 bar will give me the added torque but the turbos running out of it's range hence the drop off in boost at high rpm and power is down.so i'm putting alot less strain on the turbo running at 1 bar ,i think 1.2 bar is probably around the figure that would be ideal for the s3.Shame no-one makes a decent hybrid k04.regards Ryan
