Removing center caps from RS TT wheels

I was running my car without the center caps on my RS TT wheels, and I actually quite like the look of the wheel with the caps removed. Only problem with doing this longterm is that the central hub part of the wheel is exposed, so I guess it would need protection. My neighbour has a MK IV Golf, with a small VW cap that would fit right in this hub part of the wheel, so I rang my Audi dealer but they say there is no equivalent part to fit my wheel.

Any ideas on how I could have the center caps off but still protect the center hub?

There's bound to be an Audi part that fits, just trial and error. What model/year is your neighbours car?

W reg Golf V5 - the 170 bhp version. Montreal 2 is the wheel on the car.

Do you nick hub caps to order then Ben?

The part # you need is 4BO 601 170 - a silver cap with audi rings. I have these fitted to my RS4 reps, so I know they fit and look gr8.

Get them from vagparts - about £3 each from memory.
