S3 for sale

Post by djcromie » Thu Jun 19, 2008 3:53 pm

http://www.carzone.ie/used-cars/Audi/S3 ... P/1083060/

Alright lads, I'm usually over on the S6 forum, but I saw this little gem and was thinking of takin it for a spin (petrol is killin me on the big car and I'm always on the look out for something different).

A couple of lads on another forum at home reckon that it was originally a UK car, so I was wondering if anyone recognised it and knew some of its history.

Any info or comments would be great

Cheers

Mark

Considering some of the work apparent on the car such as replacement hoses, it would be worth checking what else has been done on the car.

Exhaust looks standard, but I would guess a remap, and possibly some other mods not mentioned in the ad. Definately worth a look if you're after an S3.

A stage 1 mapped S3 will be 30mpg upwards on a run.

Hi

You'll have to confirm the mods, because at £15.9k (exchanging €19k @ 1.2) that is VERY expensive for a 6 year old S3, IMO of course. Plus I don't understand the Irish car market ;)

My car is chipped and regularly see over 32mpg driving steady!
